Are you looking for an opportunity for utilizing your leadership and professional skills in new ways, while also giving back to your community? Then volunteering for the First Alliance Credit Union Board of Directors or Supervisory Committee is a great way to grow in your career while supporting a mission to improve the financial lives of your neighbors. 

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, our volunteer structure is the backbone of our credit union and our volunteers act as the member's voice within our organization. All decisions must by our volunteers are to be made with integrity and respect for all First Alliance Credit Union members. 

Board members serve a three-year term and are elected each year during our Annual Membership Meeting in the spring. You must be a primary member of the credit union (in good standing) for one year prior to applying for any volunteer position. Supervisory Committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors on an annual basis.

SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER

The Supervisory Committee is responsible for ensuring that the Credit Union meets required financial reporting objectives and has established practices and procedures sufficient to safeguard Members’ assets. Their ability to understand and appreciate the Credit Union’s strategic priorities, and our number one priority of Member Service should be at the forefront of their decisions.
